              Event Description:
              Join us for the longest running parade in Louisiana.  The 4th of July Parade will kick off the 8th Annual Avoyelles Arts and Music Festival with floats, marching bands, festival queens, and plenty of patriotic participants ready to celebrate this years 4th of July.  
              If you are interested in participating, please register today.
              ALL DANCELINE, CHEER, & ATV PARTICIPANTS MUST CALL THE OFFICE FOR PARADE RULES.  (318) 253-8599
              IF REGISTERING ONLINE, PLEASE PUT DESCRIPTION OF PARTICIPATION IN COMMENTS SECTION OF REGISTRATION.
              Example: Float, Vehicle, Band/Marching Group, Bicycle/Wagon, Dance/Cheer, ATV
              Location:
              Line-up will begin at 9AM on Mark Street between Washington and Ogden Street.  THe parade will begin promptly at 10AM from the corner of Ogden and Washington Streets.  It will turn South on Main Street and proceed to Tunica Drive, then turn left onto Acton Road, turn left again onto Preston Street.  The final turn will be back to Mark Street where it will end up in the parking lot across from the Avoyelles Parish Police Jury building.  Please stay in the line-up for the entire parade route.  
              ALL THROWS, MUSIC, AND PARTICIPATING FLOATS MUST BE FAMILY FRIENDLY.
