    Event Description:
    The Marksville Chamber of Commerce is excited to announce the 1st Annual Harvest Market.  The market will feature vendors, live music, games for children, and Trick-or-Treating around the courthouse square.  

    If you are interested in becoming a vendor, please register no later than October 6, 2017.        

    2-8pm              Market Craft and Food Vendors
    Local vendors will surround the square.  Be sure to come out and stock up on local produce, vegetables, jams, jellies, teas, soaps, wood crafts, delicious hot food and much more.    
    2-8pm             Children’s Corner Under the Ole’ Oak Tree
    Bounce House - Sponsored by Phillips Sublimation
    Pumpkin Painting Table 
    Pumpkin Patch Photo Booth 

    3pm               Scary Story Telling  

    4pm               Halloween on the Bayou Parade
    Wagons only!  Ages 0-13 – Winner receives a Lifetime Hunting and Fishing License.  Sponsored by Spring Bayou Restoration Team

    4-8pm          Live music by The Paul & Pete Band

    5pm             Children’s/Pet Halloween Costume Contest 
                         Age Groups:  0-3, 4-8, 9-13
    All participants will receive a cash prize
                           
    5pm             Submit pumpkin coloring contest entries in the children’s                       corner
    5:30pm        Pumpkin Pie Eating Contest
                        Adults and Children contests

    6pm             Pumpkin Coloring Contest Winners Announced 
                         Age Groups:  0-3, 4-8, 9-13

    6:30-8pm     Children 13 and under Trick-R-Treating around the square
    follow the Pumpkin Trail for goolish treats

    Acceptance of Rules & Health Guidelines
     
    I certify that I am 18 years of age or older and have read and understand the Application, the Information, and Guidelines. I agree to abide by said rules, procedures, and guidelines. Further, I agree to sell only such items that I have produced and only those listed on this application unless granted by the MCOCHM at a later date through an additional written request. I also certify that any chemicals used in the production of the produce I grow were used in accordance with the current label instructions (if applicable). Processed food such as jam, jelly, preserves, or baked goods shall conform to the Louisiana Labeling Laws and Sanitary Code.  Vendors selling by weight shall use certified scales; this is the responsibility of the vendor.  Indemnification and Release of Liability The undersigned hereby agrees to release and hold harmless from all liability The Marksville Chamber of Commerce Harvest Market for property being exhibited and from any personal injury claims that might arise as a direct result of the vendor’s property being exhibited and vendor’s participation in the Market. Vendor hereby waives, releases, and discharges any and all claims for damages: for personal injury, death, or property damages that may have occurred or which may have accrued as a result of activity at the Marksville Chamber of Commerce Harvest Market.  I acknowledge by registering herein that I am in agreement with these terms.
